Broadly, I enjoy all music, but notably electro-swing, and the intersection of ambient, electronica, jazz and classical. Experimental music is usually fun, as are classic and progressive rock.
I’m a huge electro-swing fan: Caravan Palace, Parov Stelar, Lazlo, and Bart and Baker all make regular appearances in my music library.
I also enjoy ambient, electronica, jazz and classical; Aphex Twin, Bonobo, The Cinematic Orchestra, Emancipator, the Field, Floating Points, Four Tet, Fulgeance, GAS, Goldfrapp, Hiatus, Helios, Jean-Michel Jarre, Jeremy Blake, Kamasi Washington, Massive Attack, Pantha du Prince, Professor Kliq, Public Service Broadcasting, Röyksopp, Snarky Puppy, St Germain, Szymon, Tim Shiel, Trentemøller, Tycho, Underworld, Uyama Hiroto Vangelis, and Wintergatan all make for regular rotation.
About the only thing I actively dislike is most “modern” mainstream music, which I try to limit my exposure to. I’ve listened to the last fifteen years of Triple J’s Hottest 100, though usually only to justify my dislike.
I have a list of music I’m planning to listen to soon: it’s available at like-music-listenq.
